- Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM):
The FDM is an additive manufacturing process that builds three-dimensional objects layer by layer using thermoplastic materials. In FDM, a filament of solid thermoplastic is heated to its melting point and extruded through a nozzle. The nozzle moves along a predetermined path, depositing the molten material layer by layer to create the final 3D object. As each layer cools and solidifies, it bonds with the previous layer.
